Air Victory Museum

Located at 68 Stacy Haines Rd in Lumberton, NJ , you can find this little museum next to the South Jersey Regional Airport. I will say: my 3 year old son and 5 year old nephew LOVED it ! I had so much fun myself reading about the history of all the planes and even getting some cool pictures inside the cock pit ! There's a few relics and history scattered about the loop you follow inside; from old uniforms and propellers, to different types of seats and bullet casings. For an expert or someone that experienced war, I'm sure this place is captivating. For my generation, it had different meaning: a look back in history and the experience of showing my kids these big powerful machines. There is a small section on 9/11 that was incredibly moving with artifacts and an American flag of all the victims names.

The volunteer at the front was very welcoming and knowledgeable. He is stationed right at the entry which is a ticket booth and little gift shop in one. Adults $10, children $5, and kids 5 years and under "fly for free". All proceeds go to the museum and donations are appreciated !

While we were touring the outside of the museum where they have a plane and helicopter, we got to watch three private jets take off on the runway. My son was amazed !! It was like a little show after leaving the museum !!!
