Insectarium

This place was referred to me by a friend (Kyle!). This is a multi-floor building filled with bugs and creatures ! They have a Butterfly Pavilion on the first floor- literally a walk through with beautiful butterflies flying all around you (and even land on you!). Make sure you look up when you come out of the Butterfly Pavilion; there's some trippy art on the ceiling. The second floor is a kind of jungle gym area for little ones. The third floor is comprised of bugs all around ! If you get a cool worker they might even let you touch a couple. When leaving, stop by their little gift shop for some bug toys or ant lollipops. Located at 8046 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, this place is currently only open on weekends to the public and you can even book a birthday party there.
