The Academy of Natural Sciences

Located at 1900 Benjamin Franklin Pkwy in Philadelphia, I discovered this museum in my search for dinosaurs. The museum floor plan is comprised of a lower level (entry, gift shop, cafe) and a 3 floor museum with mezzanine. Our favorite part was the Dino walk through and Dino dig !! The third floor has a play area for littles and some real creatures. Each floor has some little fossils or relics the kids can touch and learn about. The staff is very knowledgeable. There is also a space on the first floor for visiting exhibits. Reservations available on their website and membership info available.
